Press Release, Bible Seminary Bonn, April 2015 (translated from German news article):
From April 24 to May 3, 2015, the young couple Bolerjack comes to Germany. Blake is a gifted singer and artist who makes modern gospel music and is on tour. We hope to find a number of municipalities, which are open to customize Blake and Jenna an evening event in the community or youth group. At the concerts the gospel is mediated through gospel songs and a very moving testimony.
Blake Bolerjack is a full-time artist who since 2005 has sung in many churches and congregations in the United States. Although one can call his music style as modern Gospel, his repertoire includes everything from traditional gospel towards Christian Contemporary Music.
His aim is to present the Christian message of the songs with professionalism. An important part of his presentation is his personal witness of life. Blake reported how God led him as a youth by Jesus’ healing and redemptive power of his depression, and like Jesus every day passes it with his love and builds. Especially young people, who are struggling with everyday life stress will relate to Blake’s testimony with new courage and strength.
Blake, who has completed a theater degree at Oklahoma Baptist University, began his career with the Continental Singers. Over the years, he has appeared in many different communities, as well as at conferences and Christian events. He collaborates with Gaither Homecoming artists such as the “Booth Brothers” and the “Martins”, as well as other well-known Christian artists. He was also often seen in Christian television programs in TBN and VTN. His most famous song is “Somebody Cares”, which was listed in the Top Charts of Christian songs in the United States.
His music has been influenced by the Southern Gospel Music of Bill Gaither, the Blackwood Brothers and the Imperials.
Currently Blake lives with his wife Jenna in Oklahoma City. His wife Jenna, supports him and enters with Blake together in song.
