Hi Everyone, We hit the studio this month and finished up all the vocals on the new CD coming out soon. We are waiting on the tracks to be mixed and the artwork to be done, then we can send it to the printers. We are aiming to have the CD available by Thanksgiving weekend, so the next newsletter will have PreOrder information so you can get your copy as soon as possible. I have a clip of some of the background singers doing their thing on one song that is really fun. It’s not what it will sound like when it’s finalized, you’ll be able to hear me and Jenna really well in the end, but it’s a good sneak peek. It’s posted on the Left side.I got to thinking that a lot people right now are probably fighting allergies or colds or flu with the weather changes so I put together a video on some of my personal tricks I do to help my voice recover as soon as possible during a cold or flu. These tips are also good to just lessen your symptoms or ward off sickness from the get-go. Last weekend I lost my voice due to a cold, but I’m bouncing back pretty quickly. Watch below:
A few weeks ago we got to drop in to one of our most favorite places, a coffee shop called Espressions Coffee and Art in Round Top, TX. The owners there are incredible Christian people and we feel so relaxed there. We always meet the neatest people and this time was no exception. I got to talking with another believer who was asking what we do. I was telling him about singing and how I also get to share how because God is love and another of his attributes is that he doesn’t change, then we can know God’s love does not change and how that is such a relief that on our best or worst day God’s love for us doesn’t change. To see that truth register with him was incredible. I want to remind you of that today, too. God loves you and his love for you doesn’t change no matter what you do or don’t do. — Blake’s Facebook: Jenna’s Recipe Corner Classic Breakfast Quiche Ingredients: – 3 cups thawed hash browns (Optional Add-ins) 1. Preheat oven to 450. Pat dry any remaining water out of hash browns. Mix 2 Tbsp of melted butter with the hash browns. Press the hash browns into a pie pan. Bake for 20 min. Check occassionally to make sure it’s not burning. I love quiche and I always forget how easy it is to make. So when I saw this basic recipe on pinterest I had to try it. I adjusted it a bit, trying to add in veggies for nutrition. This is great to make the night before to have for breakfast or a light lunch. Add as many veggies as you think you can get away with!
